"My Hope" Campaign Brings Hope

As the year 2011 ended, we were blessed to have had the opportunity to take part in a nationwide evangelistic campaign and to witness God’s faithfulness in fulfilling His promise that our labor for His glory will never be in vain.

“Mi Esperanza” or My Hope was an evangelistic activity that broadcasted a series of 30-minute gospel programs on national television aired for three consecutive days. With the collaboration of evangelical churches throughout Spain, and the help of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, it was a campaign that encouraged participation from local churches in mobilizing for local missions here. Cristo Vive Hoy was one of these churches that experienced the joy of sharing the hope we have in Christ. Seven families from CVH church opened their homes and hosted 62 invited guests of whom seven received Christ as their Lord and Savior; three Christians renewed their commitment to God; and 50 are still investigating.

Our participation in the campaign, which was held December 15 to 17, conveniently extended through the Christmas celebration CVH church had on the 18th. Some of the host families also invited their guests to this event, where the members freely shared their hope in Christ Jesus.

In this we give thanks to God—for giving us Jesus, the source of our hope, that we may also share to others the true meaning of Christmas. It is a hope that neither fades nor ends, but rather a hope everlasting, eternal.
